Egg Donor Packages Cyprus

Our fertility center offers a renowned Egg Donor program that meets the criteria of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.

euroCARE IVFOur successful egg donation program is thriving at euroCARE IVF because of our exceptional egg donors. Matching our patients with egg donors is a moderately quick process that involves no waiting lists.

Our egg donation program is a viable option for many couples. All couples deserve the kind of treatment that gives them the best chance of having a healthy baby — exactly what you get at the leading fertility center in Cyprus.

We have a strict protocol for women who wish to anonymously donate their eggs. Once they have signed a consent the donor must undergo meticulous screening before any donation can take place.

Each donor is required to have a full evaluation for:

Fertility:  Anti Müllerian Hormone (AMH), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Estradiol (E2), Prolactin, Transvaginal ultrasound scans.

Health / Genetics:  HIV (AIDS), HbsAg (Hebatitis B), Anti-HCV (Hepatitis C), VDRL (Syphilis), CMV IgG, Rubella, Thalassemia, Cystic Fibrosis, Phenylketonuria, Karyotyping, Hemogram etc.  A Trans-vaginal ultrasound scan follows to assess the condition of the ovaries. The condition of the heart is also checked.

Donors must be screened on a regular basis to ensure health and fertility is maintained.

Egg Donation Packages for euroCARE IVF

We have treatment packages in place that encompass the full Egg donation treatment (scans, donor fees, donor medication, donor egg collection procedure, ICSI, assisted hatching, embryo glue, embryo transfer procedure), your half board accommodations (3-Star, 4-Star, and 5-Star hotels), your travel from and return to either Ercan (ECN) or Larnaca (LCA) airports, plus all transfers for your appointments at the Clinic with the Doctor.

Step 1 – Testing

The first step is to contact our patient coordinators to receive the treatment information in full and to answer all of your questions. Some initial tests are required in order to organize your treatment plan to allow us to send your prescription and medication protocol.

We will need:

  • Hormone blood tests:  TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) and Prolactin
  • Trans-vaginal ultrasound scan: to ensure there are no issues that could affect implantation such as fibroids or polyps
  • Semen analysis

Step 2 – Medication

Your prescription and medication protocol will confirm which medication you need to take and when to take it.  An injection is needed to suppress the level of ovarian hormones and tablets are needed from day 2 of your period to thicken your womb lining in preparation for the embryo transfer. We work with pharmacies in the UK that can deliver the medication to your door.

Step 3 – Choosing and egg donor

At euroCARE IVF Clinic we understand it is not an easy decision to use donor eggs. We also understand it is important that the donor looks as much like you as possible. For this reason, it is important to provide us with the following information in selecting the best egg donor:

  • Physical features  (hair color, eye color, skin type)
  • Blood group
  • Picture of yourself
  • Ethnicity
  • Personal Characteristics

We have a wide range of donors in our program, so there will be no problem in finding you a suitable match.

Step 4 – The Treatment

Day one of your menstrual cycle marks day one of the treatment process and on day 2 the tablets begin. On day 11, you will need to fly to Cyprus.  The Doctor will also require a scan before coming to Cyprus to check how your lining is thickening. The medication may be adjusted at that stage. The treatment process will follow the below schedule (though subject to change).

  • Day 1 – First day of period
  • Day 2 – Stimulation tablets begin
  • Day 9 – Scan
  • Day 11 – Fly to Cyprus
  • Day 12 – Scan, donor egg collection & sperm collection (if eggs are ready)
  • Day 17 – Embryo transfer

Please keep in mind this is a basic schedule as egg collection day can vary depending on when the eggs are ready which in turn affects the embryo transfer day.

Note: If you no longer have a monthly menstrual cycle then we can still go ahead with an egg donation treatment cycle. Tablets will be needed to prepare your womb lining for one or two months in the lead up to the month you are coming for the treatment. When you no longer have a regular period the body slowly produces less estrogen which is needed for a healthy womb lining therefore these tablets help prepare your womb before the treatment is carried out.

If you desire we an also include Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) in the treatment if you wish to select the gender of your embryos before they are returned to the womb.

Our patient coordinators will be happy to answer any questions you have.
